This site is not called XpatXperience for nothing, we aim to let you benefit from the experience of those who came before you but … A lot of experience is not easy to define or put in neat keywords and menu lists, some of it is one-off or not generally applicable and some of it isn’t useful but it is funny.
So, this section gives you some Singaporean experiences that are not easily definable. If you have a useful, interesting or funny story about what happened to you while living in Singapore, just submit it to us, we’ll probably place it if it’s any of these three but if it’s all we’ll love you for it. Neil Humphreys' 'notes' is a nicely written book that uses a lighthearted and fun way to discusses life in Singapore seriously. His stories should be very recognisable to many expats here and I could match almost all with a similar story indeed, you will find one or two on this site. Having said that these notes are better written and can be recommended to a prospective expat to Singapore to get a 'feel' for the place. |
