Professional Education in Singapore
We have called this section 'professional education' but we could also have called it 'upgrading'. Singapore, and other countries, is actively stimulating adults to upgrade their skills and stay 'employable'.

Now, if you are a highly specialized and experienced person in something-or-other you may not need consider this but if you are not that 'highly' something yet and you are here on a long(ish) term contract you may want to consider some study.

So what should you do then;

Business courses / MBA

Singapore hosts a number of Management Universities, such as the SMU and Business Schools, both local and foreign. The Business Schools often offer programs from foreign universities, generally Australian, American or British. For the busy executive there are shorter upgrade courser as well as full fledged (part-time) MBA's. If you are not sure if you will be around long enough to finish in Singapore there are several distance learning programs on offer that 'travel with you'. Entry requirements, durations and cost vary significantly soo look carefully before you choose.

A sampling of what is on offer in Singapore:
